KitchenAid Oven
Although the KitchenAid Oven wasn't the appliance that started it all, it has become a popular appliance in kitchens throughout the world.
KitchenAid is a household name and should be since it's been helping us in the kitchen work smarter for almost 100 years. The name represents, among other things, quality and dependability; just like their ovens.
Types of Ovens
So, just exactly how many ovens are there?
Probably the one that gets the most use is the microwave oven. There is also the single oven, the double oven, the combination oven with a microwave and there is the countertop ovens otherwise known as the toaster oven.
Some ovens have a cooktop attached to the top, ovens can be built-in or free standing, some will have convection cooking options and some will be fueled by electric, gas or both.
KitchenAid's Single Oven
This is the oven most of us have in our homes today. They can range in their internal capacity, while the width can vary from 24 to 36 inches. Some may have more basic functions while others can multi-task and be a conventional, thermal or convection oven.
KitchenAid's Double Oven
For the double oven category, there are three different types.
There is the freestanding side by side with a cooktop, similar to what your Grandmother may have had, the unit in which one is stacked on top of the other and is positioned in the wall.
Then there is the freestanding unit that has a cooktop and there is a small oven placed below the cooktop but above the larger or second oven. The width options will range from 24 inches up to 48 inches and will cook with convection, thermal or convection plus steam.
KitchenAid's combination oven with microwave
These nifty units are built-in and similar to the stacked double ovens. The appliance is one unit but the microwave sits on top of the convection oven, which gives you a number of ways to cook your next meal. Measuring at 27 or 30 inches wide, these ovens are space savers in the kitchen. One model, the KEHU309SSS, is actually the first of its kind to be sold within the United States. It has a dual fan convection oven and uses steam to keep foods moist. For about $4,749 it is an appliance to consider.
KitchenAid Oven - Microwave
The options here are almost endless because these have become a necessity in any home. They can be a countertop model, be built-in or be a microwave and hood combination over the range. The width can be from 22 inches up to a whopping 36 inches, which is for those professional kitchens we would all love to have. Features can include automatic turntables, convection cooking and, of course, the all important popcorn button.
A kitchen isn't a kitchen without an oven. Regardless if it is a simple 4 burner standalone model with no light inside or a grand standalone stainless steel 6 burner dual oven with warming drawer option. The point is that there is a KitchenAid Oven for every kitchen no matter how much you cook.
